About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at EG Australia's Ballina store. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and able to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Promoting products and offers to customers to increase sales and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Operating the point of sale system, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate transactions.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and reporting any incidents or hazards.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and support each other in achieving business goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A confident and energetic approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a similar role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, actively listening, and responding to customer queries.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
