Medical Officer Position in Gastroenterology

This role involves the provision of clinical management and treatment to patients. It requires a high level of expertise in Gastroenterology, including procedural services and consultation.

The successful candidate will work closely with our department, which comprises 11 Staff Specialists who value collegiality and collaboration. They will be responsible for delivering top-notch care to patients and contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Advanced Trainees expecting to receive Fellowship of the RACP within 6 months may be considered for this position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for delivering quality patient care.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including outpatient and community-based services. Our hospital is a major referral center with over 500 beds.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for Category A
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current AHPRA Registration and Fellowship with Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
