Job Title

We are seeking a skilled trade apprentice to join our maintenance team in Western Australia. As an apprentice, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by conducting scheduled planned preventative maintenance and attending to breakdown repairs of equipment and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and attend to unexpected equipment failures to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with internal customers to prioritize and complete work orders effectively.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to ensure that equipment remains operational and critical services continue uninterrupted.
  • Develop strong technical skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain effective computer skills to support documentation and communication.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate 2 in Engineering or relevant recent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of safe tool usage is essential.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients.
