Mobile Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery in the Newcastle area. As a key member of our field-based team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including PPM and breakdown coverage, on a wide range of materials handling equipment.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, building trust and understanding through effective communication.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, such as plant or automotive engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on service and repair.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills, with a strong understanding of diagnostic techniques.
