Job Title

As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading our team of pharmacy technicians. Your expertise and leadership skills will enable us to deliver exceptional patient care and improve therapy outcomes.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily technician tasks and performance levels, monitoring pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels, and creating pharmacy technician schedules.

You will also be responsible for providing weekly huddles to cover communications and process opportunities, completing monthly 1 on 1's to evaluate workload and performance, and maintaining team morale and employee retention by serving as a point of contact for questions and concerns.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Florida Pharmacy Technician License - required
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification - preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor, with 2-4 years' experience required and 5+ years' experience preferred
