We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at IDEXX. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and process payroll for employees across Australia and New Zealand
- Support employees with payroll queries and provide timely responses
- Ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing, including preparation of payroll reports and journals
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the payroll function and drive projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Minimum 7+ years of payroll experience in a medium to large organization
- Recent experience using Micropay is required
- Experience with time and attendance systems is essential
- Sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll and HR legislation
- Exposure to award/IR payroll and variable pay provisions
- Proactive attitude and ability to learn processes quickly
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects
