Job Opportunity:

Transform data into actionable insights to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data assets, reviewing risk issues and supporting end-to-end remediation of business customers.
  • Develop analytical solutions using SQL, Python, and R to improve risk-based outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Undertake and automate data analytics across large datasets to identify customers requiring remediation and estimate financial impact to these customers.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver results on time.
  • Develop data solutions to record remediation payment records.
  • Present analytical insights to stakeholders up to the General Manager level to provide data-driven advice.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical briefings, analytical processes, and outcomes subject to external regulator review.
  • Support peers with quality assurance (QA) reviews.
  • Lead customer projects and initiatives by liaising with analytical and non-analytical business partners across the department.
  • Design and build continuous improvements that optimize the accuracy and effort for remediations and regulatory changes.

  • Data and Analytics: Advanced analytical, numerate, and logical reasoning skills with extensive experience in using complex data and analytics to drive business results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate ability to translate complex concepts into simplified stakeholder key messages and present to senior leaders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to plan and manage multiple time-critical projects with an understanding of business value, effective prioritization, and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years in Data Analytics or similar experience.
  • Proven experience working with SQL to extract data from complex datasets.
  • Extensive experience in using data-driven analytics to develop dashboards, insights, and recommendations.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data-driven insights to solve.
  • Experience with analytical tools and platforms such as R/Python and/or GitHub is preferred.
  • Degree in relevant discipline (Actuarial, Statistics, Maths, Economics, Engineering, or Sciences).
