Key Dermatology Nursing Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Nurse Consultant/Nurse Practitioner to play a vital role in providing expert clinical care and leadership in dermatology.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with patients, guiding them through their treatment journey from screening and administering therapies to ongoing education, follow-up and support. You will be responsible for treatment coordination, clinical documentation, and ensuring access to important services such as Medicare PBS applications.
As a Dermatology Nurse Consultant/Nurse Practitioner, you will have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to influence care at both an individual and service level. You will provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, contribute to projects and programs that improve outcomes, and play an integral role in shaping best practice in dermatology care.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated nurse who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for advancing patient care. You will have a collaborative approach and a commitment to professional development, thriving in dynamic clinical environments and confident in leading change and fostering staff growth.
Key qualifications include:
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience and relevant clinical expertise
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change
- Experience mentoring, supervising, and developing junior staff within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice, standards, legislation, and patient safety frameworks
