Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Senior Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will play a vital role in addressing child protection issues and providing clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the Safe Wayz Program for children under 10 with problematic or harmful sexual behaviors, adopting a strength-based approach to prevent escalation of harmful behaviors.
  • Culturally responsive counselling services and case management to support young children and their carers.
  • Develop and maintain connections with local Aboriginal communities to affect outcomes and improve child-centred services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal children and families.
  • Strong understanding of cultural safety principles and intergenerational trauma.
