We are on the hunt for an experienced and innovative leader who can drive the success of our Controls Engineering Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the team in delivering complex projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Low Level Controls team in the full project life cycle engineering of PLC and control systems design, development, implementation, and commissioning onsite.
- Coach and mentor engineers to achieve complex project goals, promoting professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Control Systems.
- Proven success in a leadership position, demonstrating strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- 5 years+ of experience in complex Industrial Automation solutions, preferably in Materials Handling such as Parcel Sortation, Conveyor Systems, etc.
- Design and development of complex control systems architectures and specifications for controls systems.
- Expertise in programming languages, standards, and tools, with a focus on control system code development.
- Ability to prepare and present complex technical data, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, driving results-oriented decision making.
