Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Language Teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. They will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team based approach to learning and teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages the full flourishing of each child
  • Embody the Catholic ethos of our school and promote a growth mindset
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
  • Deliver the Victorian Curriculum and have experience in teaching Languages or Auslan
  • Celebrate all cultures and languages and promote diversity and inclusion
  • Partner with families to provide care and support for students
  • Foster and value student voice to engage children in their learning
  • Use digital technologies to enhance innovative and contemporary learning and teaching
Selection Criteria

We require a teacher with the ability to:

  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Assess and report student progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Embody the values of our school community
