We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assurance Analyst to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for executing audits in a timely manner, assisting with other matters and projects, and supervising assignments to ensure high-quality audit documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute audits in accordance with the audit manual and client requirements.
- Develop and implement engagement scoping and objective setting, ensuring a thorough understanding of client risks and controls.
- Lead and provide guidance to junior staff on audit engagements, ensuring the adequacy of workpaper documentation and the appropriateness of performance tests.
- Evaluate findings for relevance and form an opinion, maintaining ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-presented workpapers, and draft queries in a professional and concise manner.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
- Minimum of three years of recent work experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Accounting principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
