As a skilled litigator, you will be responsible for handling personal injury cases with a focus on public liability and property damage.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires experience in litigation and dispute resolution in state and federal courts, as well as the Coroner's court.

You will work closely with a senior associate or special counsel who will provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

In turn, you will have the opportunity to mentor and delegate work to a junior lawyer within the team.

This role involves exposure to a wide range of industries, including sport, hospitality, leisure, retail, commercial, and residential property management and owners, churches, schools, medical, health, aged care, trades, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling personal injury cases with a focus on public liability and property damage
  • Working closely with senior associates and special counsel to provide guidance and support
  • Mentoring and delegating work to junior lawyers within the team
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve case goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in litigation and dispute resolution in state and federal courts, as well as the Coroner's court
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills
