About This Role

This opportunity involves managing projects around Greater Brisbane, from Logan to Ipswich region. As a result of continued growth, SEE Civil are seeking experienced Project Managers or Senior Project Engineers to lead our project teams.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a project's programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management, and supervision of all technical aspects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective programming and construction methodologies of site works
  • Project compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Coordination of employees, subcontractors, procurement, plant, and equipment required
  • Leading and supporting the project team through project activities and changes to the project scope
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training staff, identifying and developing departmental talent
  • Monthly assessments and forecasts of project financial performance
  • Ensuring safe working conditions for plant, equipment, staff, and subcontractors

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • Construction White Card
  • 5+ years' experience with proven management skills, practices, and planning ability
  • Demonstrated experience managing a project and maintaining focus on priorities
  • Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts, specifications, Australian standards
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual project delivery
  • Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
  • Planning, organising, and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
