Job Title: Ecommerce Dropship Manager

The role of an Ecommerce Dropship Manager is pivotal in driving growth and success within a brand's dropship and marketplace portfolio.

This entails establishing and nurturing strong relationships with brand partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless onboarding, operational excellence, and commercial performance.

  • A key focus is accelerating marketplace growth by onboarding new vendors that expand the assortment and align with the brand positioning.
  • The role develops and grows existing vendors by managing their performance, enhancing promotional programs, increasing media exposure, and negotiating favourable commercial terms to maximise sales and profitability.
  • The Ecommerce Dropship Manager acts as a trusted point of contact and advocate for vendor success, working closely with internal teams across Digital, Merchandise, and Marketing.

This role delivers a seamless, scalable vendor experience, driving customer satisfaction, incremental revenue, and sustainable marketplace growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace Growth & Brand Acquisition: Lead the acquisition of new vendors, oversee vendor onboarding, and define commercial opportunities with Merchandise and Marketing.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, position the brand as a premium marketplace destination, and drive operational excellence through continuous review of fulfilment SLAs and stock accuracy.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop best-practice playbooks, vendor training resources, and business development strategies to nurture and grow vendor performance.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of dropship and marketplace programs, including vendor onboarding and operational dependencies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and develop business cases for marketplace growth initiatives.
  • Proven capability in brand negotiation and trading, including securing favourable terms and improving margin outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder and vendor-facing communication skills.
