About us
We are seeking a motivated Principal Project Officer to contribute to the development of statewide guidance material and evidence base for alternative education and learning programs.
- Researching and building the evidence base for high-quality alternative learning settings in state and non-state education pathways
- Developing resources and case studies to support alternative education and learning guidance materials for schools and the system
- Providing advice to schools and regions on appropriate alternative education and learning responses
- Leading workshops and other consultation processes on the development of resources.
This role involves working closely with Curriculum, Teaching and Learning team, providing skills to foster productive partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring development of resources are user-friendly.
The successful applicant will have strong written communication skills and an ability to communicate complex concepts for various audiences, as well as a creative and strategic mindset to build effective processes and pathways to embed resources in the Education system.
Candidates with knowledge of research and evidence relating to alternative learning settings are highly desirable and encouraged to apply.
