About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Consultant - Disability Services to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our 3D Health team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality community-based services to children and young people with disability or complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical advice and support to clients, families, and carers to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to community settings.
• Conduct training and education sessions to promote best practice in disability management.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of disability services.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent with relevant specialist qualifications.
• Have experience in child, adolescent, or community health medical management.
• Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
