About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Nurse Assessors/Facilitators. As a key member of our assessment team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the competencies and skills of nursing students or professionals undergoing training and certification.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment of Skills and Knowledge: Evaluate the clinical and theoretical knowledge of students or trainees to ensure they meet the required standards of practice.
- Developing and Conducting Assessments: Administer, and mark assessments such as written exams, practical tests, and observational assessments.
- Providing Feedback and Guidance: Offer constructive feedback to students, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Identify gaps that may require further training.
- Compliance with Educational Standards: Ensure that all assessments align with the educational standards and regulations set by relevant accrediting bodies.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- 5+ Years as a Registered Nurse
- Current RN AHPRA Registration
- Recent National Police Check
- Valid WWCC
- Fully Vaccinated
This is an ad hoc casual roster pool position, with shifts available in various locations across the state. You will be required to work on an as-needed basis, supporting the client's requirements during periods of assessments.
Shifts will be available in the morning and afternoon, with a range of locations including regional hubs, coastal towns, and metropolitan centers.
