About the Role

The HSEQ Advisor plays a critical role in supporting management and employees in the implementation of policies, systems, programs, and initiatives to ensure compliance with local legislative requirements. This position promotes continuous improvement and compliance with the requirements of Service Stream clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and assistance with health and safety legislative compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
• Assist in the management of local HSE reporting systems, maintaining current and relevant information for assurance, incident reporting, and consultation processes.
• Plan, implement, and provide internal training to employees to enhance safety awareness and compliance, reducing the risk of workplace accidents and injuries.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, and identify corrective actions to mitigate potential safety risks.
• Perform Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) and assist employees with hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.

About You

• Relevant industry experience in safety management, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong people skills with the capacity to listen to others, identify their needs, and provide appropriate guidance and support.
• Well-developed communications skills with a demonstrated ability to engage people across all levels of an organization.
