Senior Director of AI Orchestration and Management Research

Gartner analysts are industry thought leaders who create groundbreaking research, market insights, and best practices for top-tier organizations.

This role focuses on creating actionable insights to executive leaders in technology firms and services providers on the AI Orchestration and Management topic.

As a Senior Director, you will be a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner's value every day by engaging them through in-person meetings, virtual discussions, sales support visits, and Gartner conferences to address complex client challenges and provide actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop innovative and highly impactful research on AI Orchestration and Management.
  2. Collaborate with peers to create comprehensive research on the broader AI technology stack.
  3. Conduct new research specifically to assist technology and/or services providers succeed in their use of AI technologies in their products or services.
  4. Establish research positions across a team of analysts.
  5. Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders that can evolve the course of a research agenda.
  6. Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights.
  7. Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned to their designated content area via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
  8. Deliver high-value presentation materials on and off stage for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
  9. Provide high-quality and timely research content peer review.
  10. Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology, and strategy.
  11. Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience, preferably in a technology or services provider, including recent experience in AI orchestration and management.
  • Demonstrate executive presence; establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability.
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.
  • Strong communicator able to explain complex concepts concisely and simply.
  • Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
  • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the AI orchestration and management area and the interplay in that market.
  • Ability to work independently, while also being motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global team.
  • Learning agile and adept at navigating highly matrixed environments.
  • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally if required.
