Design and develop software products to ensure infrastructure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, program, and document numerical algorithms for engineering and mathematical calculations in the software.
  • Troubleshoot engineering design modules to support technical teams.
  • Develop advanced hydrodynamic analysis software used in cross-products.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Naval Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or relevant experience.
  • Advanced programming skills in FORTRAN.
  • Excellent understanding of Hydrodynamics and Object-oriented programming.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in the use of hydrodynamic design and analysis tools (e.g., MOSES, SESAM, Orcaflex, NEMOH).
  • Knowledge of aero-elastic wind turbine solvers (e.g., Bladed and OpenFAST).
  • Programming skills in C# or C++, Python.

Our team works closely with programmers to implement engineering design modules for Bentley's MOSES product. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
