Betty's Burgers is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Kitchen Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the effective and efficient back of house operations.



As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:




  • Stock Control and Ordering: Managing inventory levels and placing orders to meet the needs of our kitchen.
  • Effective Management of Kitchen Staff: Leading a team of skilled cooks and kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.
  • Staff Rostering and Timesheets: Coordinating rotas and managing staff attendance to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Budgeting and Food Costing: Managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs to optimize profitability.
  • Maintaining Kitchen Presentation, Cleanliness, and Product Integrity: Ensuring our kitchen is clean, organized, and meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.
  • Maintaining a Safe, Secure, and Healthy Workplace Environment: Promoting a positive and healthy work environment for all staff.
  • Opening and Closing of the Restaurant: Leading the team during peak periods and ensuring a smooth transition during opening and closing procedures.

  • Proven Leadership Experience: A track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced kitchen environments.
  • High Standard of Food Preparation and Productivity: The ability to maintain a high level of food quality and productivity under pressure.
  • Professionalism Under Pressure: The ability to maintain a professional demeanor during busy periods.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Exceptional Presentation, Communication, Time Management, and Attention to Detail: The ability to present yourself and the kitchen to the highest standards.
  • Flexibility and Ability to Work a Rotating Roster: Willingness to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
