Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Olympic Dam, working on a FIFO 7/7 roster. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mining equipment and machinery, ensuring they are safe and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mining equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality work
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Fitter
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
