About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance Reliability Team at BHP Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving defect elimination, improvement initiatives, and identifying opportunities to support safe and reliable fixed plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to drive defect elimination and improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with fixed plant maintenance, production, planning, inventory, and engineering teams.
  • Examine asset performance and work management trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Guide and facilitate root cause analysis to ensure corrective actions are in place to prevent recurrence of identified failure modes.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to capture value across safety, volume, cost, and culture.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Fixed Plant Maintenance teams.
  • Manage end-to-end asset life cycle and optimize asset management strategies to deliver business requirements.
  • Support and advocate for BHP Operating System (BOS) Principles and Practices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with stakeholders effectively across all levels of the business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
  • Proficient-level of experience with Microsoft Office Applications and SAP.
  • Ability to apply management of change and risk principles.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, adapt to change, and step-up as a leadership delegate when required.
