Job Description:
The Cyber Engagement section's body of work is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Cyber Technical Specialist to join our high-performing ICT cyber security team in the Digital Service Division Infrastructure space.
This role requires expertise in writing and presenting security documentation to both technical and non-technical staff.
Responsibilities include providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs on security architecture best practices, reviewing and providing cyber guidance on application, infrastructure, and system integration designs, and raising awareness of security issues with technical and non-technical departmental staff.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a technical cyber advisory role within government.
- Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and services, particularly around technical assessments.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high-quality outcomes.
- Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks.
