About the Role

Pirtek Newcastle is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Service Technician to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repair of plant and machinery to customers in the Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers
  • Travel to sites to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery
  • Operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and problem-solve
  • Adhere to OHS and Safe Work Practices

Requirements

  • Trade / field services experience in Fitting / Mechanical Background and / or Hydraulics
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
  • Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and problem-solve
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence)
  • Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is a pre-requisite
