About The Role

We're expanding due to high referrals. As a Full-Time Community Occupational Therapist, you'll conduct in-home occupational therapy assessments and interventions.

  • Develop personalised treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, modifications, and assistive technology.
  • Collaborate with clients, carers, and our multidisciplinary team.
  • Mentor or support junior clinicians if aligned with experience level.

A Day in the Life:

You will work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to create tailored plans that cater to individual needs and goals. Your expertise will enable clients to regain control over daily activities, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and potential areas for improvement. Develop and implement intervention strategies to address these findings, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients, carers, and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans that align with individual goals and objectives.
  • Equipment Recommendations: Provide guidance on adaptive equipment, modifications, and assistive technology that can benefit clients, enhancing their ability to perform daily tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication, coordinated care, and shared goals.
  • Junior Clinician Support: Mentor or support junior clinicians, promoting professional growth and development within the team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy + AHPRA registration.
  • Current driver's licence + reliable vehicle.
  • Compassion, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
