About the Role:

Terry Wilkie Smash Repairs is seeking a skilled Panel Beater and Vehicle Spray Painter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate chassis straightening equipment and remove panels, bumper bars, and seats for repair and painting.
• Reassemble vehicles for detailing and quality inspection prior to collection by customers.
• Use initiative and follow instructions with a sound attention to detail.
• Work within a team environment and maintain a professional work ethic.

Requirements:

• Trade skills ticket in vehicle body and automotive spray-painting.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle components, including spray-painting metals, plastics, and fiber glass.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle colors and compounds used.
• Ability to use equipment in the paint division, including spray guns and sanders.

Salary: $73,150.00 – $80,000.00 per year
