Teaching Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educator to join our team at Bambino's Kindergarten. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our centre and contributing to the care and education of our children.

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and qualified Educator to further develop their career in Early Childhood Education. Our centre caters for up to 90 children with operating hours from 7:00am to 6:30pm. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a passionate team of professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily operations of the centre, including assisting with planning, preparation, and implementation of educational programs
  • Contribute to the care and education of children aged 0-5 years, including planning and implementing engaging and challenging activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Assist with the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in an Early Childhood setting, preferably with children aged 0-5 years
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
