Hospitality Assistant

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Catering team as a Hospital Assistant - Food Service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff while maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Service Delivery: Set up and serve patient meal trays, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized working area, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Team Support: Assist the broader team as required, providing support with tasks such as stock management and cleaning.
- Stock Management: Assist with the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and supplies.
- Flexibility: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including morning and afternoon shifts, across a 7-day roster.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or hospital environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles, including HACCP and Food Safety.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Qualifications: Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality is desirable, as is coffee shop experience.
