Senior Release Manager

A high-level senior release manager is required for a 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will be located at Melbourne Airport and work as a senior professional.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing environment plans and strategies
  • Managing cross-functional engineers to coordinate code migration and development
  • Providing technical advice on non-production environment performance and availability
  • Managing change and ensuring communication plans are followed
  • Maintaining environment support documentation
  • Incident and problem management analysis and coordination

Additionally, the role involves:

  • Developing release management practices and governance for Dynamics and Azure deployments
  • Managing go-live & hypercare activities
  • Managing stakeholder engagement
  • Developing end-to-end processes for deployment into non-prod and prod environments
  • Responsible for deployment plans and runsheets
  • Developing rollback strategies, dress rehearsal, and production cutover activities

Required skills include:

  • Administration of Dynamics SAS solution
  • Windows desktops (up to Windows 10)
  • Windows Server (up to 2016)
  • Azure
  • MS SQL
  • DNS
  • AD
  • Firewalls
  • ADO

Achievements include:

  • Developed environment management policies and procedures
  • Developed non-production change management and project engagement policies & procedures
  • Development release management practices and governance
  • Developed deployment guides and supporting practices

This is a senior-level role with a salary of approximately $1100 per day. The role is fully onsite and not hybrid.
