About Our Graduate Program

We offer a 12-month development program for graduates from various disciplines, consisting of two 6-month work placements. This enables you to engage in meaningful work and develop knowledge, skills, and experience through tailored learning and development and on-the-job coaching.

Throughout the program, you will be supported through placements informed by high-priority business needs. Each placement will be in a different area of our organization.

You will join us as an ongoing employee at the APS 3 level, with opportunities to apply for advancement throughout your graduate year.

As a Graduate, you will participate in project management, undertake analysis and research assignments, and contribute to policy advice and/or programs. You will also complete administrative tasks and engage in team and departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing input and advice on government policy proposals and financial frameworks
  • Managing assets and delivering services to stakeholders
  • Engaging in whole-of-government procurement, risk management, and general insurance services
