About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Home Care clients to live independently at home by providing domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in their community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing domestic assistance to our clients, including cleaning, laundry, and light household duties. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritise your workload to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance to Home Care clients, including cleaning, laundry, and light household duties.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Home or Aged Care is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Passion about helping people in your community, with strong relationship building, time management, and budget management skills.
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people's physical limitations.
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients' individual needs.
