Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial interior fit-outs and be able to lead a team of contract administrators and site supervisors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of construction are considered and budgeted for.

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement at pitch stage to ensure all aspects of construction are considered and budgeted for
  • Running PCG meetings, preparing minutes and ensuring actions items are completed
  • Problem solving with designers
  • Managing the resources of site staff to ensure coverage of projects
  • Informal mentoring of junior construction team members
  • Liaising with and managing the expectations of clients
  • Accounting for profit margins on all jobs
  • Working closely with the contract administrator to ensure timely ordering and sequencing of trades, materials etc
  • Following and championing company processes and procedures
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in Construction Management
  • Minimum 5 years relevant commercial experience, with a complete set of skills across the typical range of project stages
  • Demonstrated experience in contract analysis and negotiation, budget preparation and accounts management in the Commercial Fit-out sector
  • Experience in Procore and Cheops would be desirable but not essential
  • Complete awareness and knowledge of Safety, quality and the environment legislative requirements
