Are you a passionate speech therapist seeking a senior role that aligns with your expertise and ambitions?

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a senior speech therapist, where you will work across diverse client groups—early intervention, school-aged, adolescents, and adults—with a wide range of presentations and diagnoses.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting, and will be able to deliver high-quality services to clients with various diagnoses and disability types, focusing on complex communication (including high-tech AAC prescription), swallowing difficulties, and complex behaviors.

The role offers the opportunity to support NDIS participants with complex communication needs and swallowing difficulties, as well as those experiencing complex behaviors, mental health challenges, complex trauma, and backgrounds of vulnerability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality services to participants with various diagnoses and disability types
  • Work across diverse settings, including family homes, schools, disability group homes, day programs, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and office environments
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, enhancing their communication, independence, and celebrating their achievements
  • Be a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with SPA
  • Experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting (desired)
  • A car and driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client-facing roles
