Job Title: Nmf Communications Operator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Defence High Frequency Communications System Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Australian Defence Force's critical communications infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing and delivering contracted Operations Support for the DHFCS and EDHFCS.
  • Conducting initial investigations into system failures and reliability concerns whilst maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs to achieve competency to operate our DHFCS and EDHFS systems.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience as a Defence Communications Operator, or experience in a similar field. The ability to maintain an Australian Defence security clearance is essential. Trade qualifications in either communications or network/HF engineering would be highly desirable.
