We're seeking ambitious individuals to join our Cleaning & Trolley Collection team at Woolworths Auburn. As a Cleaning Team Associate, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our store, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for customers and colleagues alike.
This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in store maintenance, where you'll work closely with our proactive services team to ensure trolleys are available and our stores are spotless. You'll be trained to operate various equipment and have access to tools that make your job easier and safer.
About the Role:
- Key Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys bays, and emptying bins. Additionally, you'll collect trolleys on foot from car parks and surrounding areas, working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
As part of our team, you'll also provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing directions when needed.
Requirements:
- Essential Skills:
To succeed in this role, you'll need physical fitness, as it involves physically demanding tasks. You should be able to comfortably handle loads between 5-10kgs and stand for long periods. A good eye for cleanliness and small details is also crucial.
