About the Scrum Master Role

At Pyramid Global Technologies, we're seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, encouraging collaboration, and driving process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Encourage collaboration and proactively seek opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams.
  • Proactively plan and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of services for designated products and projects.
  • Assist with internal and external communication by transparently radiating information, especially relative to historical team metrics, progress towards sprint and release goals, and team capacity.
  • Manage release plans, iteration plans, and status reporting for designated projects.
  • Assist teams with making appropriate commitments to tasks.
  • Proactively identify and remove blockers, limit work in progress, and prevent distractions.
  • Facilitate frequent retrospectives, sharing metrics to identify and implement improvements.
  • Lead Agile projects from initial project backlog creation and planning activities through demonstration and release deployment, with responsibility for all aspects of team productivity for all phases of the project.
  • Lead risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities with the project team, including escalating those in a proactive and professional fashion when appropriate.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication and distribution of project information to all appropriate team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify differences in understanding and issues as they arise and elevate them to the team for resolution, or to management if needed.
  • Manage Sprints, keeping order and ensuring process, delivery, priorities are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the Sprint timelines.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and encourage self-management.
  • Train, mentor, coach, and help set up fit-for-purpose Agile delivery models and behaviors.
  • Drive adoption and readiness of proposed changes.
