The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated leader to manage our Fruit department at our Rochedale store in South Brisbane. This role involves overseeing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, conducting stock takes, and other responsibilities that drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team to achieve sales targets and provide top-notch customer service
- Create effective schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Generate accurate and timely orders to meet customer demand
- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy
- Develop merchandising strategies to boost sales
- Liaise with team members and management to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred but not essential
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team
- Ability to order and control costs effectively
- Accurate rostering and time management skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Merchandising flair and creativity
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
