Storeperson Manager

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving and managing stock to ensure smooth operations. This involves tracking stock quantities and locations using computer systems, operating machinery such as forklifts to move goods safely, and ensuring proper custody of inventory by conducting regular stock checks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels, locations, and movements.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to receive, store, and dispatch stock in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with general store duties, including packing and scheduling.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized store environment.
- A valid forklift license is highly desirable.
- Experience working in warehousing or store environments is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Suite is required.
- Experience with systems such as MILIs will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work effectively with Defence personnel and other stakeholders.
