Locum Dental Therapist Opportunity in Remote Northern Territory Communities

We are seeking experienced Dental Therapists/ Oral Health Therapists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.

This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

About the Role
  • Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
  • Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

What You'll Need
  • Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate in the past 2 years.
  • Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • Minimum of Two years full-time post-graduate clinical relevant experience as a dental therapist.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental therapist within the past 12 months.
  • Current BLS / CPR Certificate.
