Job Title

A Vehicle Damage Assessor position has become available at a leading collision repair company.

This role is responsible for assessing and estimating vehicle damage to ensure timely completion of quotes. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and work providers.
  • Accurately quoting vehicles in a timely manner in accordance with industry standards.
  • Completing quotes as required onsite, off-site, and online.
  • Processing vehicles onsite by carrying out vehicle arrival inspections, including mapping and imaging.
  • Managing parts for repairs to ensure timely arrival and cost-effectiveness as required.
  • Assisting with production management of the centre where required.
  • Ensuring vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience within a similar position, including experience in the preparation of estimates/quotations in the automotive smash repair industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including building rapport with customers and work providers.
  • Highly professional and personable.
  • Strong systems experience and competent computer abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to problem solve with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
