Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Application Manager to spearhead our Applications team and oversee the strategic direction of our software portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of enterprise applications, driving adoption of DevOps best practices, and delivering secure, modern, and community-focused digital solutions that meet evolving needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading the Applications team and overseeing the Council's software portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements.
  • Managing enterprise applications such as TRIM (Content Manager), Salesforce, TechnologyOne, and other key platforms, including configuration, integration, upgrades, user support, and vendor coordination.
  • Driving the adoption of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines, to improve the speed, quality, and reliability of software delivery.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical expertise and experience in application management, DevOps practices, and software development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams.
  • Passion for delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the community.
