Aiding Independence in Home-Based Support Roles

This role involves in-home support for individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve independence through goal-setting and skill development.
You will deliver personalized assistance with daily tasks, medication administration, and manual handling. You will also support clients in making their own choices and developing skills for independence.
A positive relationship with clients is essential, providing opportunities for social interaction and building trust. You may also be required to transport clients in your own vehicle.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Deliver daily living support to clients, including personal care and domestic duties.
- Support clients in developing skills and achieving goals, promoting independence and self-reliance.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide transportation for clients as required.
- Previous experience in disability support or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for varied shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts.
- Current driver's licence (P2 minimum).
