The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Software Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software applications, APIs, and integrations. You will work closely with our Program Manager and Principal Business Analyst to drive project and technical roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of our business and how our systems create value.
- Lead the development of technical solutions, prioritizing delivery and trading off perfection according to context.
- Mentor and upskill junior to senior software engineers.
- Take ownership of work and responsibility for getting it done.
- Design and implement well-structured, testable, and efficient production-ready code.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality software applications.

- 10+ years of commercial software development experience.
- Exceptional skills in C# and recent.NET versions.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure, specifically Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDb, and SQL.
- Excellent skills with GitHub Actions and YAML pipelines.
- Experience with React TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong working knowledge of unit testing for both backend and frontend code.
- Ability to execute on security, performance, and accessibility issues.
- Ability to express intent through code, focusing on simplicity and maintainability.
- You have a strong track record of making an impact in your previous roles.
- You take initiative and are comfortable making key decisions and trusting your judgment.
- You thrive in complex situations where the correct path forward isn't clear.
