Job Summary:
The Royal Australian Mint seeks a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join its Governance, Compliance and Procurement team. As a vital member of this team, the successful candidate will undertake a range of compliance-related tasks to ensure the Mint's adherence to financial regulatory framework requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level secretariat functions and audit coordination, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Complete compliance monitoring activities, identify areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on financial regulatory framework requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate the implementation and administration of the travel system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.
- Monitor and report on the usage of financial and travel systems, identifying areas of non-compliance.
- Assist staff with travel arrangements and provide user support.
- Undertake administrative and reporting tasks for the Finance branch, including reporting on system usage.
- Prepare and deliver finance-related training to Mint employees.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments and committees.
Security Clearance:
This position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
