As an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional education and care.

The role is based at Tara Childcare Centre, where you will be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach children 6 weeks to 5 years in a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Support the professional growth and development of educators through coaching, mentoring, and collaborative planning.
  • Model and promote effective teaching practices that align with our curriculum approach and incorporate the latest research and pedagogical techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with directors, managers, and other leaders to develop strategies that enhance student outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

To thrive in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, as well as the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
  • Current certification in First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and a valid Blue Card and Police Check (obtained within three months if necessary).
  • Significant experience in supporting the growth and development of early childhood teams.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week. You will work closely with our leadership team to achieve strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and possess a strong ability to lead and motivate others.
