Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our Community Connections team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with our participants to understand their goals and assist them to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with participants who require support with physical mobility, personal care, manual handling, complex care needs, and understanding of behaviors of concern.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and community inclusion.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated professional team to provide person-centered service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Mature-minded and confident individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the disability sector.
  • Current First Aid Level 2 and CPR certification.
  • NDIS Screening Check.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends.
