Senior Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

Join a dynamic national team working on large-scale deals in a welcoming environment.

The Team

The team is currently seeking a Lawyer or Associate with 2–5 years post-admission experience (PAE) to join its corporate team in Sydney.

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Equity and debt capital markets
  • Joint ventures
  • Corporate governance
  • Restructures
  • General commercial and corporate contracts

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced and respected Partners in a team that specialises in advising clients on complex corporate transactions.

About You
  • Solid experience and exposure to M&A transactions and a strong background in Corporate Advisory/M&A, preferably with a mid-market focus developed at a mid to top-tier firm;
  • Capable of managing M&A transactions proactively and autonomously;
  • Strong teamwork skills, including mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating with other specialist practice areas;
  • Experience in conducting legal due diligence and drafting due diligence reports;
  • Client-focused, with excellent relationship-building and communication abilities;
  • A clear understanding of clients' commercial objectives and offering practical legal solutions;
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, supported by strong academic results;
