Visual Merchandising Production Expert

At Country Road Group, we are embarking on an exciting transformation journey to position ourselves for growth. We are investing in new and existing capabilities, creating numerous opportunities for our team members.
This role is focused on optimising the visual merchandising execution process across stores and field teams. This includes streamlining communication and training, managing VM-related purchase orders and budgets, and overseeing vendor relationships. Additionally, this role manages roll-out schedules, production, logistics, and new store openings to ensure seamless execution and impactful customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and manage VM-related purchase orders within budget constraints
- Collaborate closely with the Creative team to understand design specifications and translate them into production requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of production timelines, lead times, and costs
- Oversee the production and delivery of all visual merchandising materials (including digital assets), ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines
- Manage roll-out schedules, including production, delivery, archives, and logistics for setup and breakdown
- Collaborate closely with the VM Creative team, the Head of Visual Merchandising, and VM Area Managers to implement the VM critical path effectively
- Liaise with vendors, including briefing, iterations, and approvals, in partnership with the Creative brand team
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in visual merchandising, production management, or a similar role within the retail sector
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and logistics, including impacts on lead times and costs
- Proficiency in project management software and communication tools
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting
- Knowledge of sustainability and ethical compliance standards such as Good Business Journey
- Understanding of visual merchandising principles and best practices
- Excellent negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and support cost and margin management
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive solutions
About the Opportunity
